Gimp 7: Puns

For this assignment I was supposed to make a visual pun using several pictures, but my pictures became corrupt somehow so I can't post them to my blog.

Assignment 6: Event

This week i decided to do event,which is where I take pictures of people in events or take pictures of things in an event like a sporting event.

All I did when I edited the picture was making it darker and i used the clone tool to fix a patch of blurry grass in the bottom left corner.




What I learned: I learned that a major part in taking a picture of an event is trying to get someone in action.

Gimp 6: Dictionary

For this assignment I was supposed to pick a word from the dictionary and find pictures the show that word. I was also supposed to put the word in the picture and define it. I chose the following words,
Peculiar,

Awesome,

and Silly.

I learned that putting photos together takes a long time and requires a lot of tedious work.

Assignment 5: Architecture

This week i decided to do architecture. I was supposed to take pictures of buildings.

For this assignment I was supposed to take two pictures, one with all of the lights and the other with a bounce card near a window.

What I learned: I learned how to reflect the light using a bounce card.

Assignment 4: Black and White

For this week I did black and white and I was supposed to take pictures in black and white.

Gimp 4: School

For this assignment I was supposed to take a picture of anywhere in the school and add random things and make them look real, which is the challenging part.

I learned that editing pictures is much harder than it seems. I also learned how to make shadows for objects.

Motion Blur Demo

For this assignment I was supposed to take a picture of Mr. O'Donnel while he rode around in a circle and I had to take a picture with blur in the background.

I learned that I'm not very good at taking pictures with motion blur.

Gimp 3: Panoramic

For this assignment I was supposed to take 3 pictures and put them together to make them look like one whole picture using Gimp.

This week I decided to do still life. For this assignment I had to take pictures of inanimate objects.

Summary: For this assignment everyone got up close to everything they were taking a picture of, but as you noticed in mine, I stood back more.

This week I chose to do the people assignment where I take several pictures of people.

Summary: For this assignment I didn't want to do it how everyone is doing it, so I took pictures of people when they weren't paying attention. Unfortunately, because of that, some of the pictures were blurry.

Gimp Car Retouch

Assignment Description: For this assignment I was given two pictures of a car. One was edited and the other was the original picture. I was supposed to edit the original picture to make it as close to the edited picture that I was given.
